Recovery LIVE: Criminal Justice System Impact on Marginalized Populations

A criminal conviction limits employment prospects, access to public housing assistance, and social services. Further, systemic racism means that these barriers disproportionately affect people of color. This recorded webinar discusses the impact of mass incarceration, the school-to-prison pipeline, extreme sentencing, and collateral consequences for disenfranchised and marginalized populations, with a focus on the needs of women exiting the criminal justice system.

Community of Practice Session 1: Creating Housing Opportunities for People with Complex Health Needs Leaving the Justice System – CSG Justice Center
