The authors draw attention to the dominance of a raceless narrative applied to all Latinos that renders invisible both Balckness and the oppressive structures of anti-Blackness that impact many Latinos. They introduce a framework that underlines the role of race, ethnicity and ethnocentrism in the study of Latins and provide five practice guidelines.
