This study compared responses in Spring, 2020 of 8th, 10th and 12th graders to responses of youth from a comparable survey in 2018 to understand the impact of the pandemic on a number of variables. Youth who felt more connected to their families since the pandemic had fewer mental health symptoms. Many youth were impacted by the murder of George Floyd, leading to worry and anxiety.
