This resource created by Mental Health America and The Human Rights Campaign can aid LGBTQ+ PoC to learn how to get connect to affirming care and providers by providing questions that they can ask to see if providers are a good fit for their needs. Crisis continuum care providers can work with the LGBTQ+ client to help connect them to affirming providers in the community and also ask themselves the same questions as guiding principles regarding the provision of affirming, intersectional and cultural responsive care.
