Contrary to the dominant findings about the increasing mental health challenges for youth during the COVID-19 pandemic, this study in a single Southwestern city found improvement in signs of well-being among these Latinx youth. The authors speculate that the stay-at home orders may have provided more time with family and that this may have been salutary for these youth.
