Recurring Office Hours

June 2022 – Various dates and times

Overview

For the next five weeks, the CARE TA Center is offering no-cost drop-in office hours to support Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)-funded community and county level programs and community stakeholders as they address needs related to:

  • California’s crisis continuum of care
  • Peers working in the crisis continuum
  • Crisis continuum of care for youth and transition age youth (TAY), including youth with foster care experience
  • Criminal justice diversion
  • Support for individuals at greater risk of mental health crisis, including people experiencing homelessness

These sessions are also offered to participants in CARE TA Center trainings as they work on follow-up action-planning activities shared during virtual learning events.

CARE TA Office Hour with C4 Innovations
4 Tuesdays in June 2022, 1–2 p.m. PT

Areas of expertise:

  • Supporting peers working in the crisis continuum
  • Supporting people experiencing homelessness and behavioral health crisis

CARE TA Office Hour with NAMI CA
4 Wednesdays in June 2022, 12–1 p.m. PT

Areas of expertise:

  • The overall crisis continuum of care
  • Supporting peers working in the crisis continuum

CARE TA Office Hour with Stanford Sierra Youth and Families
4 Thursdays in June 2022, 12–1 p.m. PT

Areas of expertise:

  • Crisis continuum of care for youth and TAY, including youth with foster care experience
  • Supporting peers working in the crisis continuum

Continuing Education Credits

Attend CARE webinars and receive continuing education units (CEUs)! CARS is an approved provider for the CA Board of Registered Nurses (#CEP16303), California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (#131736), and the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (#4N-08-923-0722). Certificates are available for the following credentials: ASW, BRN, LCSW, LEP, LMFT, LPCC, PPS, CADC, and CCPS.
