Family Urgent Response System

This hub is intended to provide background information, resources, and links about the FURS program.

FURS is a coordinated statewide, regional, and county-level system designed to provide collaborative and timely state-level phone-based response and county-level in-home, in-person mobile response during situations of instability, to preserve the relationship of the caregiver and the child or youth.

An Inside Look at Making Mental Health Diversion Work

Learn about the research that informs how to successfully implement mental health diversion as a strategy for prosecutors. This session will cover background on the issue of the over-representation of people with behavioral health needs in the criminal justice system, as well as use hypothetical defendants to discuss who makes an appropriate candidate for diversion and developing case plans targeted to individual risks and needs.

Teen Line
